{"id":69547,"date":"2025-02-28T13:06:50","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T13:06:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/instituteprojectmanagement.com\/?page_id=69547"},"modified":"2025-02-28T14:45:20","modified_gmt":"2025-02-28T14:45:20","slug":"terms-and-conditions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/instituteprojectmanagement.com\/terms-and-conditions\/","title":{"rendered":"Terms And Conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\" id=\"h-course-fees-payment-plans\"><strong>Course Fees &amp; Payment Plans<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Course fees must be received in full at least <strong>two weeks prior<\/strong> to the course commencement date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payment Plans<\/strong>: Available only for <strong>Diploma programmes<\/strong>, structured as follows:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>50% of the fee<\/strong> payable at least <strong>two weeks prior<\/strong> to course commencement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>50% of the fee<\/strong> payable <strong>no later than 60 days<\/strong> from the course commencement date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payment plan requests must be submitted in writing to <a href=\"mailto:info@projectmanagement.ie\"><strong>info@projectmanagement.ie<\/strong><\/a> and will be reviewed individually.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Failure to meet the payment schedule results in immediate <strong>withdrawal f<\/strong>rom the programme, with access to all facilities revoked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students will not be permitted to <strong>sit the examination<\/strong>and\/orget the course completion<strong> certificates<\/strong>until full payment has been received. All fees paid are <strong>non-refundable <\/strong>and <strong>non-transferable<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-course-cancellation-refunds\"><strong>Course Cancellation &amp; Refunds<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cancellations are permitted only if the request is made <strong>at least fourteen (14) days<\/strong> prior to the scheduled start date of the course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a cancellation request is received <strong>less than fourteen (14) days <\/strong>before the course start date, no refund will be issued.Example: If a course starts on the <strong>15th of a month<\/strong>, a cancellation request must be submitted by <strong>11:59 PM on the 1st of that month<\/strong> to be eligible for a refund.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refunds will be processed within <strong>14 business days<\/strong> from the date of approval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course fees are <strong>non-refundable, <\/strong>once a student has commenced the programme, no refunds will be issued,except under extenuating circumstances at the discretion of IPM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Refunds, if applicable, will only be made payable to the <strong>original payer<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-course-transfers-changing-course-or-format\"><strong>Course Transfers (Changing Course or Format)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who wish to transfer to a different course or change their course format (e.g., from a <strong>CAMPUS course to an ONLINE course<\/strong>, or from a DAYTIME session to an EVENING session) must request the change <strong>at least fourteen (14) days <\/strong>before the scheduled course start date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transfers are subject to <strong>availability and approval<\/strong> by IPM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the new course has a <strong>higher fee<\/strong>, the student must <strong>pay the difference<\/strong> before the transfer is confirmed. If the new course has a <strong>lower fee<\/strong>, no refund or credit will be issued.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transfer requests <strong>less than fourteen (14) days before the course start date<\/strong> may not be accommodated or may incur an additional administrative fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deferral-or-resit-applications\"><strong>Deferral or Resit Applications<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students are expected to complete the course and sit the exam on their original registration date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deferrals &amp; Resits<\/strong> must be requested in writing via <a href=\"mailto:courses@projectmanagement.ie\"><strong>courses@projectmanagement.ie<\/strong><\/a> and are granted at IPM\u2019s discretion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The full course fee must be paid before a request is considered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fees:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First deferral <\/strong>(course or exam) <strong>\/ First resit:<\/strong> \u20ac175<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Second deferral, second resit, or further requests:<\/strong> \u20ac275<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who do not complete or resit their assessments <strong>within two years<\/strong> of their original enrollment must re-enroll at full course fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-deferral-or-resit-acceptance-criteria\"><strong>Deferral or Resit Acceptance Criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests will <strong>only<\/strong> be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Medical reasons<\/strong>: Requires a medical certificate from a registered practitioner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Family bereavement<\/strong>: Requires a death notice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other personal circumstances<\/strong>: Requires independently verifiable documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The following <strong>will not<\/strong> be accepted as valid reasons for deferral:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pre-planned holidays or events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weddings or engagements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lack of clarity on course dates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Poor time management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical difficulties due to lack of preparation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work or study conflicts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests not meeting the acceptance criteria <strong>will be charged <\/strong>a deferral fee as per the number of applications submitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-course-extension-requests\"><strong>Course Extension Requests<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students may <strong>extend access to course materials<\/strong> for <strong>30 additional days<\/strong> by paying a <strong>\u20ac100 administrative fee<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requests must be submitted via <a href=\"mailto:courses@projectmanagement.ie\"><strong>courses@projectmanagement.ie<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-special-educational-needs\"><strong>Special Educational Needs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IPM provides <strong>reasonable accommodations<\/strong> for students with special educational needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requests must be submitted <strong>at least 14 days<\/strong> before course commencement via <a href=\"mailto:info@projectmanagement.ie\"><strong>info@projectmanagement.ie<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Needs assessments determine the level of support provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examination accommodation may include <strong>extra time<\/strong> (10, 15, or 20 minutes per hour).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-assessment-confidentiality-and-liability\"><strong>Assessment Confidentiality and Liability<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IPM <strong>does not disclose<\/strong> the identities of assessors or examiners under any circumstances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students <strong>cannot request or demand<\/strong> access to this information, regardless of their assessment or exam results. Additionally, IPM holds no liability for any consequences arising from a student&#8217;s performance in assessments, exams, or course completion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All grading and assessment <strong>decisions are final<\/strong> and made in accordance with IPM\u2019s academic policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-publish-your-writing-programme\"><strong>Publish Your Writing Programme<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>IPM welcomes anyone to submit content and materials through <a href=\"https:\/\/projectmanagement.ie\/blog\/publish-your-writing\/\">Publish Your Writing<\/a> submission programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributions may be viewable by all users of IPM\u2019s website and other third-party platforms such as <strong>social media<\/strong>, <strong>email marketing<\/strong>, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IPM hold<strong>no obligation <\/strong>to get your article published on any IPM platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By submitting any contributions, you thereby <strong>represent <\/strong>and <strong>warrant <\/strong>that: the <strong>creation<\/strong>, <strong>distribution<\/strong>, <strong>transmission<\/strong>, <strong>public display<\/strong>, <strong>accessing<\/strong>, <strong>downloading<\/strong>, or <strong>copying <\/strong>of your work do not and will <strong>not infringe <\/strong>the proprietary rights, including but not limited to the <strong>copyright<\/strong>, <strong>patent<\/strong>, <strong>trademark<\/strong>, <strong>trade secret<\/strong>, or <strong>moral rights <\/strong>of any third party..<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By submitting your work to IPM, you <strong>acknowledge <\/strong>and <strong>agree <\/strong>that any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback, or other information regarding the content you provide is non-confidential and shall become <strong>our sole property<\/strong>.
